The Huawei Honor 8 seems to be making all the headlines for Huawei, but it’s not the only phone recently released by the Chinese company. In fact, Huawei has just quietly launched the new G9 Plus exclusively in China.

The phone is aimed at being a successor to the G9 Lite, which is also known as the Huawei P9 Lite in some markets. It features an all-metal unibody design with nicely rounded corners, and a single camera on the back — that’s right, it seems like rumors the phone would have a dual camera were unfounded.

The device features a 16MP rear-facing camera with both optical image stabilization and PDAF. For the selfie-lovers out there, the device also offers an 8MP front-facing camera, better than Huawei P9.

Like other major Huawei releases, the device will also feature a fingerprint scanner on the back, and will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 on top. Under the hood, there’s a fairly big 3,340mAh battery to power the device, and Huawei claims that battery will get the phone through two days of normal use. On the bottom, you’ll find a USB-C port.

When it comes to processing power, the phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, which replaces the aging Snapdragon 617 found in the Huawei G9 Lite. The device also features 32GB of internal storage, and options for either 3GB or 4GB of RAM, with prices starting at 2399 Yuan, which works out to around $360.
