The TENAA listing indicates that the device will have a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 625, 2-3GB RAM depending on variant and 32GB of storage expandable via MicroSD. A finger print scanner is placed on the back while a USB Type-C port is at the bottom, Tech First reported. The smartphone is tipped to be running Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will come with a 3,340 mAh battery.

Huawei Honor 6X's optics still remain undisclosed at the moment and rumor mills have not been outed information yet as to whether or not the smartphone will be equipped with the firm's photography brand Leica. Despite this, the smartphone seems to be coming with a dual rear camera configuration, similar to the company's high-end Huawei P9 and Honor 8.

Huawei Honor 6X is tipped to be retailed with a price around $200 and is highly likely to be marketed as a mid-range device. The smartphone's predecessor Huawei Honor 5X was retailed similarly when it was released in November 2015.
