Huawei Honor 8 Pro showed up on GizOK website that revealed all of its specs. Huawei’s sub-brand Honor introduced the Huawei Honor V9 in China last month and the Chinese tech giant is now launching the same smartphone under a different name – the Honor 8 Pro – in Europe.

Huawei Honor 8 Pro

the phone itself will have a metal body, rounded corners and a Quad HD 5.7-inch display with 2,560 x 1,440 resolution. The listing says the Honor 8 Pro will have Huawei’s own Kirin 960 octa-core processor inside clocked at 2.4 GHz, it is like the Huawei P10, Honor 8 Pro along with 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB of onboard storage and a microSD card to add up to 256 GB of additional storage.

Dual cameras are becoming the norm these days, so the Honor 8 Pro follows the Huawei Honor 9 trend by boasting a dual camera setup consisting of two 12-megapixel sensors that feature f/2.2, phase detection and laser autofocus, dual-LED flash, and 4K video recording. As for the selfie camera, it’s an 8-megapixel one with f/2.0 aperture. The Honor 8 Pro relies on a pretty large 4,000mAh battery and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

Pricing for the phone has yet to be announced but that should be revealed on or before April 5. Given Honor’s reputation of putting low price points on flagship spec, the Honor 8 might come in at around $450 US dollars.
