Huawei is all set to launch Huawei Honor 5X in India on 28th January. However, according to our internal sources, Huawei will also unveil one more smartphone at the event dubbed Honor Holly 2 Plus in India.

Like the original Honor Holly from 2014, the Holly 2 Plus will be a lower-midrange affair. That said, it will come with improved specs when compared to its predecessor.

Huawei's alleged Honor Holly 2 Plus sports a 5.0-inch IPS HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels screen resolution. It's powered by 1.3GHz 64-bit quad-core CPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB via microSD).

Honor Holly 2 Plus features a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megpixel front camera. It packs in 4000mAh battery and two SIM card slots supporting 4G / CDMA. Huawei believes that support for CDMA will be the centre of attraction on this phone.

It will obviously run Android underneath Huawei own EMUI, but it's not yet clear which software versions we should expect. Pricing hasn't been leaked, but given the specs, its plastic body, and the lack of a fingerprint scanner, the Honor Holly 2 Plus can't be too expensive.
