Curved displays have steadily become more commonplace as TVs, smartwatches and smartphones began to feature the technology. The technology does not only add to an impressive design, but also features some unique gimmicks that might make the device more appealing. Huawei intends to embrace that concept through its Huawei Honor Magic and Huawei Mate 9 Pro.

The display underneath that lovely smooth glass is a 5-inch AMOLED one with a 2560×1440 resolution, giving it an exceedingly high 577 PPI. Dual 12-megapixel cameras on the back, one color and one monochrome, should produce excellent imagery than Huawei P9 and Huawei Honor 8.

The camera setup is also pretty decent, with a dual 12 megapixel cameras at the back sporting an f/2.2 aperture and 1.4µm pixels. The front facing unit is an 8 megapixel shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. The device runs on the Android 6.0 skinned with Huawei's own Honor Magic Live OS on top.

With an estimated delivery date of Dec. 25, 2016, the Huawei Honor Magic is currently up for pre-order in Huawei Mall. The Premium-looking device is priced at $530 and is expected to hit international markets soon.
