Huawei is proving relentless in its bid to overtake Samsung and Apple to be the world’s number one smartphone producer. After bringing out the Huawei P9 / P9 Plus, P9 Lite, and Honor 5C in a span of a few months, the Honor V8 is taking its bow.

Huawei Honor V8

Honor V8 seems to be wearing the same fundamental design as all the other aforementioned Huawei devices. But judging by the top panel camera placement, the latest Honor handset is a spin-off of the P9. It’s just too bad that the camera is not Leica-certified.

Huawei Honor V8 will come with 12 Megapixel dual rear camera with Dual tone LED flash and Laser Autofocus. It will come with fingerprint scanner on its back side.

Huawei Honor 8 packs a 5.7 inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) 2.5D curved display. It will be powered by Octa Core Hisilicon Kirin Processor with 4GB RAM. It will have 32GB/64GB internal storage options.

Huawei Honor V8 will run on Android Marshmallow out of the box. It will come with 8 Megapixel selfie camera. Its connectivity options will include 4G LTE, 3G and others.
