Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. is now preparing to announce and unveil its latest high-end smartphone, the Huawei Mate 8, on Nov.26.

The Mate 8 handset recently made its way through China's 3C Quality Certification, which suggested that the phone will be available in three different models according to the three major telecom operators in the country, Phone Arena reported. The telecom operators include China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom.

In addition, the Huawei Mate 8 is rumored to sport a 6.0-inch display screen with either a 1080 x 1920 or 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. The phone is rumored to pack possibly a 4,000 mAh battery that will come with fast charging capability, compared Huawei P8 Max or Huawei P8, has greatly improved performance.

The Mate 8 could have a 3GB or 4GB of RAM, up to 32GB/64GB of built-in memory storage, a powerful 16 or 20.7 megapixel rear-facing camera and an 8 megapixel front-facing camera, according to GSM Arena. Other specs include a fingerprint sensor, support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and LTE connectivity.

In the meantime, another Huawei smartphone, called the Huawei P9 Max or Huawei P9, is also expected to be powered by the Kirin 950 processor. This device was recently spotted in an AnTuTu benchmark.
