While Samsung fans are mourning the loss of the Galaxy Note 7, Huawei fans are happy to know important things regarding the all new Android Huawei Mate 9. The details of the phone were leaked and published online, which made it more exciting.

Huawei Mate 9

The main feature that the Huawei Mate 9 will have is its dual 20 MegaPixel cameras, as Phone Arena reports. This dual camera feature might likely be the same as that of the Huawei P9, which are 12 MP too. The Huawei Mate 9 then will be getting an improved version once it comes out.

Another talking point is the Leica-branded dual rear cameras. Analysts believe that Huawei will stick to the set-up first seen on the Huawei Honor 6X, meaning that the Mate 9 will employ one colour and one monochrome sensor. A change to f/2.0 is also expected, as is the presence of OIS. The dual 20MP snappers will be accompanied by a front-facing 8MP selfie cam.

Actual retail announcement date predictions and launch date bets have varied from September to December and everything in between. However, Huawei has just sent out invitations to an event on 3 November in Munich.

Of the features Mate 9 has and the good quality it portrays, it's been claimed that the cheapest model will only be available in Europe and that it'll cost around €700, around $770.
