The rear cameras in Huawei's Mate 9 will be situated one above the other rather than side-by-side like in Huawei P9 or Huawei Honor 8.

A leaked image, which looks more like a Huawei advert, shows the rear of the upcoming Mate 9 featuring two 20-MP cameras placed in a vertical line just above a dual LED flash. The fingerprint sensor has been pushed further down and is placed right in the middle of the phone's back.

GizOK says that the Huawei Mate 9 will have Android Nougat once it comes out. It will also have 6 GB of RAM. Aside from the specs that have come out so far, not much else has been known about the coming new smartphone.

What people are now waiting for is its release date and its price. A December launch is being speculated for the Huawei Mate 9 and Huawei Mate S2 though no exact date has been given yet. Its price has not been revealed yet either. As its launch draws near though there would likely be more details coming out about the Huawei Mate 9.
