Huawei is expected to bring the Huawei Mate 9 to the United States soon. It will reportedly be released alongside the Porsche Design model but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro and Huawei Mate 9 Lite model might be unavailable.

However, starting next year Huawei Mate 9 could be picked by one or more carriers in the country. According to reputable leaker Evan Blass, Huawei's flagship smartphone will be released in the U.S. on January 6, and while there's no word on price, we have no reasons to believe the phone will be cheaper than GizOK's.

The Huawei Mate 9 features a 5.9-inch full HD 2.5D curved display. The phone is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 960 SoC processor with Mali-G71 MP8 GPU atop. The Huawei Mate 9 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with Emotion UI 5.0 atop.The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via a micro SD card.

The phone is anticipated to go on sale in the states on the morning of January 6th, which is the opening day of this year's Consumer Electronics Show; an event that will be held in Las Vegas. If you are wondering about the price especially since the Mate 9 is available to U.S. consumers on Amazon ($799 for the 64GB model, $899 for the 128GB version).
