Chinese tech giant is expected to hold a company presser on Nov. 3 and speculations are rife that it will launch the much awaited Huawei Mate 9. Aside from the new handset, Huawei is also planning to unveil some of its hardware products during the event including entry level smartphones and tablets. Fans also expect the company to announce whether both variants of Huawei Mate 9 will make it in the global market or just the top-tier model.

Huawei Mate 9 will most likely run on a powerful 2.6 GHz Octa-Core chipset paired with the latest Google operating system, Android Nougat. The device is said to have a design similar to that of the current Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge and if rumors prove to be true, the new smartphone will carry an impressive set of specs that will challenge the current iPhone 7 Plus as the best handset in the market today.

One of its interesting features is its screen technology, which will come with a curved 2560x1440 display resolution. According to reports, the amazing display feature of the Huawei Mate 9 makes it perfectly compatible with the popular Daydream VR headset from Google.

Other features of the device include 4 GB of RAM and an internal storage space of up to 256 GB; however, there are reports suggesting that the new Huawei Mate 9 and Huawei Mate S2 might come with 6 GB of RAM.
