Huawei may be focusing on smartphones, impressing the Android community with the latest Huawei P9 and P9 Plus equipped with Leica dual camera lens, stylish TalkBand B3, and the gorgeous Huawei Watch but the popular Chinese OEM has not forgotten the tablet arena. After last year's MediaPad M2, there was the MediaPad M2 10.0 tablet shown off at the CES earlier this 2016.

A Pro variant was recently sighted so we're assuming the new Huawei tablet will be released in the market anytime soon before Spring is over. No official announcement yet but the photos look like legit press renders. This MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro shared on a German tech website is expected to roll out  as a souped down version of the MediaPad M2.

The Huawei tablet will feature a 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen display with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, 2 or 3GB RAM, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 chipset, 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU, 16/32GB onboard storage, microSD card slot for storage expansion, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front-facing selfie cam plus a 6600mAh battery. There will be WiFi and LTE mobile versions powered by only Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The tablet will weigh 495g and 8.5mm thin.

The Huawei MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro WiFi version will cost €280 which is about $318 while the LTE variant will be €350 ($399).  Color options will only be black and white.
