While a few years ago Huawei was a relatively unknown brand in the UK, the announcement of the Huawei P9 in 2016 changed all that. The company has gone from strength to strength with its impressive design philosophy and great value for money in its smartphones, and it’s looking to continue that trend with the Huawei P10 in 2017.

Huawei P10

There has been a rumor of an update on Huawei's P9 that may change the way camera phones are seen. The Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus may still have the dual 12MP sensor features of P9 or the second generation Leica setup of 20MP+12MP that Mate's have at the back. Although there are also expectations of a third generation Leica on its way, however, as per reports from Entrepreneur, P10 models are set to be released between March to April 2017.

the most recent rumours suggest that the Huawei P10 will feature a 5.5in display with a QHD resolution, although we’re slightly sceptical about this as Huawei has traditionally steered away from high-resolution displays, opting instead to improve the screen technology to provide a better image. There’s also talk of a curved display like the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge or Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design.

What about pricing? While there’s no suggestion on the price of the Huawei P10, looking at the launch price of the 2016 Huawei P9, we imagine that the Huawei P10 will cost somewhere between £449-500.
