Huawei is expected to launch its high-end smartphone, Huawei P9, during the Mobile World Congress 2016. This handset is predicted to make its first appearance along with a 2-in-1 tablet PC particularly made for people in the business industry.

Huawei P9

Previous rumors about Huawei P9 are a bit controversial, which makes the device even more interesting specs-wise. The only graphical representation of the P9 leaked several weeks ago in the form of a schematic.

Based on the leaked images, the Huawei P9 will be available in four color options when it hit the market shelves -Gold, White, Pink, and Grey. Like other previous Huawei flagship devices, this one will also arrive with the Huawei branding both on the front as well as the back. At the back, the main highlight is undoubtedly the dual lens camera layout and both sensors will boast of an identical 12 megapixel resolution.

Based on rumours, we expect the Huawei P9 to have a premium design to match that of the Huawei P8 and Huawei Mate 8, along with a full HD display - although we're not quite sure of the size. Some reports claim that as many as four screen sizes will be available after launch, ranging from 5- to 6.8in., which if true is an interesting move from the company. Along with a full HD display, expect to find a whopping 6GB of RAM, a  rear-facing dual camera setup with a 16Mp sensor, a back-mounted fingerprint scanner and a Kirin 950 processor.

Aside from the Huawei P9, the Huawei tech company is also expected to unveil a 2-in-1 tablet PC. IBNLive stated that this "Matebook" device could run Windows 10. The tablet PC is lined up to become the competitor of Microsoft's own Surface Pro 4. Based on predictions, this two-in-one tablet will arrive with a mechanical keyboard and stylus for quick, easy transformation into a hybrid PC just like the Google Pixel C, which runs Android instead of Windows. There's even a tendency that Huawei's device could support both OS.
