Huawei is expected to take the wraps off their next smartphone, the Huawei P9. In fact just the other day, the company teased an image for the upcoming handset in which it seemed to suggest that the phone will be coming with dual cameras. Now thanks to recent photos, it seems that Huawei's president was spotted using a device with a dual camera setup.

Huawei P9

It is safe to say that this could very well be the Huawei P9, although we guess there is always the off-chance that it could be something else entirely. It's hard to make out the entire design of the phone just from this photo alone, but from what we can tell it will sport a dual camera setup on the back, a flash unit, along with something else below the flash unit.

We're not sure what that is, but maybe it could be a laser autofocus system or some kind of sensor. We can also see from the back of the phone what appears to be a fingerprint sensor. In terms of specs, the Huawei P9 is said to feature a 5.2-inch display. It is also rumored to be powered by a Kiri 950 SoC with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of onboard storage.

Word has it that there could be multiple versions, like a P9 Lite, Enhanced, and P9 Max versions, all of which will sport differing chipsets, RAM, and storage options. Take it with a grain of salt but with a 6th of April launch, we guess we won't have to wait too long to find out all the official details.
