Now that the Huawei Mate 8 is official, Huawei has switched to delivering the final touches for the upcoming P9. The successor to the P8 is probably due in a few weeks, and because of that we're seeing more and more leaks and rumors about it.

Huawei P9 design

Chinese website CNMO today posted a sketch that allegedly reveals the design of the P9: we can see a pretty thin body, rounded corners, a physical home screen button, and a dual rear camera. This design kind of reminds us of the Xiaomi Mi5 (especially because of the rounded corners and the home button).

We still don't know many details about the phone although rumors point towards quite a few upgrades including a 5.2-inch QHD AMOLED display and that the device would be powered by Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin 950 octa-core processor. One rumor mentioned that it could include 6 GB of RAM, while other rumors state that it would include 4 GB of RAM which is the more likely of the two. We've even seen a leaked picture of the alleged design of the phone, although it doesn't look anything like the previous generation and it includes a physical Home button which was missing in the Huawei P8 as it uses Android's on-screen buttons, but the new button might integrate a fingerprint scanner.

We're expecting Huawei P9. Rumor has it the device will make its official debut in March, about 11 months after the P8 was announced. All these rumors are still pretty sketchy for now, but we'll keep an out for any more news on the rumored Huawei P9.
