Leaked images of Huawei's next flagship smartphone, the Huawei P9, have suggested that the device will have a rear-facing dual camera system. Now, invites from the company to an event in London on April 6th have hinted at the same setup, using the hashtag "#OO" and the slogan "change the way you see the world."

The P9 was a no-show at Mobile World Congress earlier this year and Huawei has yet to confirm the device's existence. But the company took a similar approach last year, skipping MWC to launch the Huawei P8 at a London event in mid-April.

Aside from the aforementioned dual camera setup, other features worth noting about the Huawei P9 include a 5.2-inch 1080p display, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. It is also something that would run on a Kirin 950 processor and will be backed by a 3,900 mAh battery.

Other than that, there may be multiple variants of the Huawei P9. Aside from the regular version, there is word that Huawei could also be offering a P9 Lite, a P9 Max, and an enhanced edition. The Huawei P9 Lite will be the cheapest at about $289, while the Huawei P9 Max will be the most expensive at about $627.

Like most smartphone brands, Huawei is trying to catch up with leading brands Apple and Samsung and hopefully the Huawei P9 clan can help them achieve that goal and cover a larger global reach.
