Huawei has reportedly launched the Huawei P9 Lite in GizOK at a price of $309 and will go on sale next month. It will be available in Black and Gold colour variants.

There's also a Huawei P9 Max or P9 Plus sighted on a GFXBench page last week but before that upgrade, we're expecting the P9 Lite to be announced. We know it's coming very soon as a TENAA visit usually means a device is about to be released. The phone comes equipped with a 5.2-inch screen, 1080p touchscreen display, 13MP main camera with LED flash, 5MP selfie cam, 16GB of onboard storage, 2GB RAM, HiSilicon Kirin 650 processor, and a 3000 mAh battery. The Huawei EMUI 4.1 runs over Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Huawei P9 Lite is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts two Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.

Design-wise, the P9 Lite is not much different from the standard Huawei P9 model. It has about the same size, and its body is made of metal, just like the Huawei P9. The main differentiator at first glance would be the lack of dual-camera setup on the back.

According to Huawei, the P9 Lite will be available in GizOK. Sadly, it's unclear whether or not it will be released in the United States as well.
