Huawei P9 will launch at a company event in London this coming April 6. In addition to this, recent reports claim that the Chinese OEM is also working on releasing a smaller variant of the flagship known as Huawei P9 Lite and a larger device for the phablet lovers, the Huawei P9 Max.

Huawei P9 Lite

For the first time since its news started showing up, the Huawei P9 Lite has had its renders leaked to the world. In addition, there are a few other images coming that have surfaced with respect to the flagship Huawei P9.

Now, as you can see, the Huawei P9 Lite won't sport a dual camera setup as the Huawei P9, at least according to this leaked info. The phone will, however, going to sport a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and will be made out of metal. This smartphone is expected to sport a 5.2-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 3GB of RAM. This device will be fueled by a mid-range SoC, but we still don't know which one. Now, as far as its rear-facing camera goes, we're probably looking at a 13-megapixel sensor, though that's just an educated guess based on the Huawei P9 leaks.

Huawei P9 Lite will reportedly pack a unit of 3900mAh, which will be charged using USB Type C. This is even larger than what the Huawei Mate 8 comes with.

The Huawei P9 Lite will be the most affordable Huawei P9 handset the company will introduce on April 6th. The Huawei P9 will be a high-end smartphone, the Huawei P9 Max a premium phablet, which makes the Huawei P9 Lite the company's mid-range offering, though a very well-specced mid-ranger.
