Huawei is expected to release another flagship phone next year rumored to be the Huawei P9. The Chinese company's new handset is rumored to be released in three different variants, and high end features.

Huawei P9

Now, quite a while ago, a leak surfaced revealing that the Huawei P9 might sport two cameras on the back, and a new spec leak actually confirms that. According to the newly leaked info, the Huawei P9 will feature a 5.2-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display along with 4GB of RAM. Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 950 is said to fuel this smartphone, the same SoC you’ll find in Huawei’s current flagship, the Huawei Mate 8 phablet. This is also the most powerful SoC currently available in the market, at least until some other processors don’t become available. This smartphone is almost certainly going to be made out of metal.

The device is also rumored to be equipped with the latest security feature for smartphones which is fingerprint recognition. This provides extra security for the user so that the phone's data will not be accessed by unauthorized users of the phone. It is also important for mobile payment systems, as fingerprints can be used for authentication of mobile purchases.

While the Huawei P8 has a 13 megapixel main camera, the P9 does one better with a rumored dual-camera set-up. According to the report, the main camera is also equipped with laser auto focus technology.

WFFC Tech also reported that a smaller version will also be released as well with 5.0-inch display. It is believed to be released with the same features as the two bigger variants but with smaller RAM at 3GB. All three variants are also speculated to be released with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow straight out of the box.

Along with this rumor about the P9 comes another rumor about a larger model of the P9, called the Huawei P9 Max. This device is said to have a huge 6.2 inch Quad HD display, with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution.
