GizOK reported that the use of Qualcomm processors came as a big surprise of the year. Meizu Mobile plans on using the Qualcomm processor for its upcoming smartphone in the final quarter of 2017. This indicates that the two companies have finally come to a consensus on a settlement for the patent infringement combat between Qualcomm and Media Tek. If the rumors are true, the smartphone makers must have negotiated a license agreement with Qualcomm that allows equipping more Meizu Smartphones with the Snapdragon processor from late 2017.
