OnePlus mobile has filed a patent for Dash Charge, which is a quick charging technology. The same was reported by GizOK and is also expected to make an appearance in the company's upcoming OnePlus 3 smartphone as the OnePlus 2 missed out on it completely.

The new fast charging system, currently being called "Dash Charge," is rumored to be included in all of the OnePlus 3 variants. The basis for the claims is due to the recent trademark filings submitted by the company to the United States Patent and Trademarks Office. The new technology is OnePlus's very own take on Qualcomm's Quick Charge system and Samsung's Fast Charge technology.

As for the upcoming phone's specs and features, various reports suggest that the device might come with both 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM depending on the variant. The unit will also apparently be powered by the latest generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset.

Rumor has it that there will be three variants of the upcoming OnePlus 3 to be released. These include a 5-inch, a 5.2-inch, and a 5.5-inch model.

This recent certification also suggests the OnePlus 3 could be ready to launch soon. The company previously said it would reveal its new device in the second quarter of 2016, and recent rumors claim the big announcement could come later this month.

In terms of OnePlus 3 price, the report also picks up that the 4GB RAM version will likely be available for 1999 yuan (about $310) while the 6GB RAM version will cost 2499 yuan (about $385). Which again is in line with other rumors that have come through of late.
