Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 bounded onto the scene with aplomb – we applauded its 18:9 aspect ratio screen and stunning bezel-free design. Safe to say we’re looking forward to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, the next instalment from Xiaomi. We’re not expecting to see it for a few months yet, but we’ve collated all the rumours regarding the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3’s release date, price, specs, features and more.

We’ve had our first insight into what the rear of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 may look like, thanks to Concept Leaks. The leaked image reveals a sleek black panel with space for a vertical dual rear camera and a central fingerprint scanner.

The corners on the leaked handset are notably more rounded than Xiaomi’s antecedents, though its reveals shouldn’t be taken as gospel; the rear panel could likely be one of many prototypes.

Also, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3’s predecessor lacked a 3.5mm headphone jack, something that we marked the Mi Mix 2 down for in its overall assessment. However, it’s unlikely to return in the Mi Mix 3.

There isn’t much to go on specs-wise this early in the game, although making an educated guess we’d proffer that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 and Xiaomi Mi7 will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, with 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

In terms of its screen, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Pro gorgeous 5.99in, 18:9 display was so well received that we don’t expect the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 to deviate too far from it.
