Large beautiful display, speed

I had three needs that were met when I was shopping for a cell phone. Large beautiful display, speed, and battery life. All three have been met by this phone and then some. For such a large screen the phone is easy handle and fits in my shirt pockets. I have friends that have the Apple and Samsung products that are impressed by this devise. Very good option for those that are looking for a well built device to the usual headline items.

If you're looking for a phablet that is a true battery beast and super powerful, look no further then the Mate 9. This elegant device feels great in hand despite its size and weight. comparable value with a Pixel XL or iPhone 7+.

Really liking this phone

I'm a professional Photographer and bought this phone partly due to the DSLR camera setting options available with the software and Leica built in camera. That being said, the large screen, HUGE battery and build were also a big factor. I was torn between this phone and the Galaxy S7 (I'm coming from a Galaxy S5 Active). Preliminary reports and feelings after having this phone for two days is that I made the right decision. If you're worried about the screen resolution, don't. While the S7 may be a bit more flashy, the screen on this phone is beautiful and in truth, pixels require energy so naturally, less of them require less energy which translates to a longer battery life . The finger print scanner is insanely fast and accurate. The UI combined with the CPU is WAY faster than any I've ever used. Battery life has been good. In short, I'm loving this phone thus far. I will update this review over time and plan on taking it out on some photo shoots (along with my DSLR equipment) to see what it can do. I will update with photos as they become available.

I can't believe I spent thousands of dollars over the last ten years for flagship phones. This phone is beautiful, fast, has a nice interface over an Android operating system, and does everything that my iPhone or Samsung ever did.
