I have read a lot about this phone, and the Mate 8 is being coined as being the fastest phone in the world right now. In doing my research, Gizok.com has the Mate 8 for the best price (including shipping). I spoke to Huawei this morning, and asked why the Mate 8 isn't offered on their consumer website for purchase yet in the US (gethuawei.com), they said it's because the Mate 8 is an international phone, and technically not meant to be used in the United States. According to Huawei, they do have plans to bring the phone to the US (date still pending), but have also said it will have a slower processor for the US variants, which is disappointing. I am a member of the XDA Developers forum, and from I have seen so far from people who have already purchased the Mate 8, the phone will work on all US carriers, and so it should, according to Huawei's extensive spec sheet, the Mate 8 covers a wide range of frequency bands native to US carriers. Verizon still remains to be seen, but from looking at the specs, it looks to be set up to be used with Verizon, but no comments have surfaced as of yet to prove that theory. So if you're worried whether this phone will work on US carriers like AT&T, and T-Mobile, and their subsidiaries (Cricket Wireless, Metro PCS, etc), have no worries, there is documented proof that it will. Just make sure you get the right model (NXT-AL10), which Gizok.com has. I hope this clears up a lot of confusion, and helps you to make the right choice when choosing a new smartphone to start the new year off right. Happy trails, and enjoy your new phone!
