I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect with the Huawei P8 lite, but I was very impressed. I'm a faithful Apple user, but was looking for a cheaper alternative for my son's first phone. The phone has a nice large screen, is thin and lightweight, and the battery lasts all day with average use.

My son likes to play all of the usual apps and the resolution is pretty clear. I like the home page screen, it's easy to navigate, and it's very Google friendly.

If you're a techie, you'll definitely want an Apple or Samsung--there's no comparison. However, if you're looking for a cheaper alternative (perhaps as a child's first phone), the Huawei P8 lite is a consideration. (Posted on 6/24/15)
